The Department of Pediatrics, Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking a Child Abuse Pediatrician to join the Child Protection Programs.  TThe Child Protection Programs at Riley Hospital for Children, Methodist Hospital and Wishard Memorial Hospital have unique opportunities to expand teaching, clinical services and research dedicated to the appropriate assessment and diagnosis in cases of suspected child maltreatment.

The ideal candidate will have be board eligible for subspecialty certification in Child Abuse Pediatrics, experienced in working in a multidisciplinary team setting, and have an interest in clinical research. Responsibilities will include education of residents, staff and community partners; inpatient and outpatient clinical consultation and work with local and statewide community committees and agencies. The Child Protection Program serves over 1200 children and families annually from across the state of Indiana.  There are opportunities for new program development.  Rank and tenure will depend on the candidate’s experience.
