Audrey Hepburn Children At Risk Evaluation (CARE) Center The Division of Ambulatory Pediatrics at LSU Health Sciences Center is seeking a candidate for a full-time Assistant Professor – Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics with rank determined by the candidate’s credentials and experience. Primary work location will be based out of Children’s Hospital, New Orleans and will be heavily involved in both I/P and O/P cases of child abuse/neglect, domestic violence, or youth violence cases. Children's Hospital of New Orleans is the only full-service, free-standing hospital for children in Louisiana and is the primary pediatric teaching hospital for the LSUHSC system. It serves the Gulf South-Central region and has 201 beds. The Audrey Hepburn CARE Center is a comprehensive forensic medicine center providing state-of-the-art pediatric forensic medicine evaluations to aid in the proper recognition, intervention, protection, prevention and care of maltreated children, including cases dealing with physical abuse, neglect and sexual abuse Must be BE/BC in General Pediatrics with Pediatric Forensic Medicine fellowship training or 5 years experience in the field of child abuse at start date. Clinical duties will include patient care and resident supervision. Candidates must have a commitment to patient care, teaching and research.
